Does The Job
"I needed a little wastebin by my bedside for my used tissues and whatnot, and the size and shape of this bin is perfect. The downsides however are that the wooden insert fits so loosely and with no mechanism to keep it in place that I knock it out pretty much anytime I deposit trash which gets annoying pretty fast. The lid isn't heavy enough on it's own to stop that from happening and that frustration, combined with the rest of the bin being simple plastic makes this product feel rather unfortunately low quality. I expect more from yamazki home."

A must for the vanity table
"This bin comes so handy to keep on my vanity table or bedside table. Good for throwing away little bits. I wish I got one sooner. Very stylish and discreet."

Too lightweight
"The bin is very lightweight and easy to jostle unless I put something heavy inside. Also, the wood top comes off very easily."

Exactly what we were looking for
"It may be strange to get compliments about a waste bin but out of all the Yamazaki products we have, this receives one of the most attention from our guests because of its uniqueness. One improvement I hope Yamazaki does is to find a way to hide the trash bag we put inside the bin (as mentioned in another review). Once they incorporate that feature, then this would be the perfect waste bin!"

Okay, not great
"I already own another waste bin from Yamazaki that looks similar, but is larger. That one is made of metal, and has a little insert that fixes the trash bag to the inside of the waste bin, to keep it hidden and in place. That waste bin is also made of metal. I had thought this waste bin would be similar -- that it would have a little insert to help keep a bag hidden (even though this waste bin is tiny, I'm using it primarily for used tissues during cold season and I would like to be able to use a trash bag inside of the bin for hygiene), and that it would be made of metal, just like its larger counterpart. Unfortunately, it is made of plastic, and has no mechanism for holding a trash bag inside of it. The wooden faceplate also fits very loosely into the top opening, and often gets knocked out of place when I am disposing of trash through the opening. Overall, the build quality is not at all in line with what I've come to expect from Yamazaki products. It looks nice -- except for the edges of the trash bag poking out from around the wood faceplate. But the loose fit of the faceplate, combined with the lack of ability to hide the trash bag, and being made of plastic rather than metal all make this product only "okay"."
