It is also not recommended for use on brittle walls like plaster or mortar, thin board walls that are 4 mm or less, hard walls like steel, concrete or block brick, tiles, and tile joints. It is important not to install it in locations where there is interference with the base material such as columns, studs, braces, or wiring.
If you're installing it on new wooden construction materials like veneer, make sure to have a hammer handy.
