Which surfaces are suitable for installing the shelf?
The shelf can be installed on drywall (9.5 mm or thicker), thin veneer walls (5 mm or thicker), and surfaces covered with wallpaper, fabric wallpaper, or vinyl wallpaper using the included pins.
It is not suitable for sound-absorbing gypsum or rock wool boards, brittle materials like plaster or mortar, very thin boards (under 4 mm), or hard surfaces such as steel, concrete, brick, tiles, or tile joints.
Avoid mounting on structural elements like columns, studs, or struts, and steer clear of areas with electrical wiring to prevent damage.
For new wood surfaces like veneer, using a hammer may assist with installation.
