I was disappointed to find

"I was disappointed to find these are only magnetic in the sense that they are metal and magnets will stick to them. I was expecting something that would magnetically stick to metal surfaces. What I got was a metal tray and a piece of magnetic tape. Since both the intended surface and the tray are white, I don't want to stick a big piece of black tape on them. Luckily it sticks just fine with regular flat magnets in between, and this is a flexible solution. I don't see the point of using magnetic tape with glue."

"This magnetic key tray is exactly what I needed for my entryway. The installation couldn't be easier—since it’s magnetic, I just popped it onto my metal front door and it stayed put instantly. No drilling or sticky residue to worry about! It’s a perfect solution for organizing keys and small items like mail or lip balm right where you need them. One thing to keep in mind: it is designed for keys and light essentials. If you try to put very heavy items on the tray or hang a massive set of tools, the magnets might slide, but for its intended use, it’s absolutely perfect. It looks great and has totally solved my 'where are my keys?' problem!"

Petit rangement porte-clés.

"Il est parfait ! J'en ai plusieurs. Un utilisé collé dans une porte de meuble de salle de bain pour y suspendre mes bijoux et y ranger élastiques, barettes, petits articles de maquillage etc... La seconde est utilisée pour faire sécher les gants de toilette et suspendre une serviette à main près du lavabo. Il est très discret et très joli. Design épuré."

Does the magnetic strip damage walls at all when removing?
This product if used on a magnetic surface will not leave damage. You are able to mount it on a non-magnetic wall using the screws provided; if so, the only damage it would result in would be the holes made for the screws in the wall.
