"It’s incredibly useful considering the small footprint. I’m actually using it as a small side table between two couches. Just needed something small to place a phone to change and a mug or cup. The shoe shelf I have a tiny wastebasket and a box of tissue. I think I will get another to use as an actual shoe shelf in the hallway too."

It can be used for sitting when putting on and taking off shoes. More to the point, the handle makes it easy to stand up.
