I was disappointed to find

"I was disappointed to find these are only magnetic in the sense that they are metal and magnets will stick to them. I was expecting something that would magnetically stick to metal surfaces. What I got was a metal tray and a piece of magnetic tape. Since both the intended surface and the tray are white, I don't want to stick a big piece of black tape on them. Luckily it sticks just fine with regular flat magnets in between, and this is a flexible solution. I don't see the point of using magnetic tape with glue."

"Il est parfait ! J'en ai plusieurs. Un utilisé collé dans une porte de meuble de salle de bain pour y suspendre mes bijoux et y ranger élastiques, barettes, petits articles de maquillage etc... This product if used on a magnetic surface will not leave damage. You are able to mount it on a non-magnetic wall using the screws provided; if so, the only damage it would result in would be the holes made for the screws in the wall.
